Are you a good fit for Invisible Braces (Clear Aligners)?

If you’ve ever considered getting braces as an adult for minor fixes to your teeth, you’ve probably already looked into the aesthetic benefits a slight fix can do. Along with a boost in confidence, straight teeth can improve your oral health by making it easier to brush and floss hard to reach places in your mouth. Despite this, is it really worth getting braces as an adult? Luckily there is an easier solution for minor adjustments called Clear Aligners.

MTM Clear Aligner is recommended for people who require minor orthodontic adjustments to the anterior “Social Six” teeth. This treatment is commonly associated with cosmetic enhancements, correction of orthodontic relapse, preparing for restorative procedures and/or finishing other orthodontic treatments.

MTM Clear Aligner is indicated for the treatment of anterior tooth malocclusions in people with permanent dentition (i.e. all second molars). Utilizing a series of incremental minor tooth movements, clear aligners sequentially positions teeth by way of continuous gentle force.

Below are examples of anterior cases that can be solved with Clear Aligners:

Spacing: Too much space between teeth. Esthetic problem that can be also compromise the effectiveness of chewing

Crowding: Not enough space between teeth (teeth overlap). This can make it hard to brush and floss, leading to tooth decay and gum disease.

Midline Discrepancy: Center of upper and lower teeth are not aligned. Can be indication of an improper bite which may lead to pain and further issues.

Tipping: Teeth tip outward or inward, or lean forward or backward. It can cause other teeth to shift, creating crowding and an improper bite.

Rotation: Teeth are turned clockwise or counterclockwise. It can make proper oral hygiene difficult and may lead to tooth decay.

Intrusion/Extrusion: Teeth sit too high or too low. It can make proper oral hygiene difficult and may lead to tooth decay.
